When Department of Justice becomes Department of Jokes!

I was shock by the news recently; Department of Justice Website has been cracked!

Politics, Religion and Crime has been set aside. This is indeed not typical news we heard most often in any news program. For me this is an alarming phenomenon because it talks about intrusion of privacy, in the government property!

Does it mean Philippines is still very young in terms of IT security? If they can hack DOJ’s website, therefore, there is in no way they can’t hack other government sites too! Huh, worried about GSIS site. The funny thing is that, it has been replaced by Enchanted Kingdom site. Is that a simple way of telling the people that our justice system is a joke?

Present DOJ Undersecretary is well known for his rude comments and criticisms and is very much actively involved in Philippine Politics (admin side of course!), but I believe this is the rudest criticism they’ve faced ever! (forget about Estrada’s pardon). That makes me think….. Can you imagine they can’t even manage their own site, how much more those cases which has been stack for ages?

We’ve shaken the e-commerce industry before due to the love virus, but sorry to note to the crackers, “I am not impress”. Truly, this made a significant impact to the Philippines once more. As what Cebu has done to their dancing prisoners, we are indeed in the headlines with a famous caption, as I may borrow comedian actress Ai-Ai De Las Alas famous quote, “JOKE, JOKE!”
